UC Berkeley Theater Department Presents: After the War Blues

On Friday March 7th the theater department opened up the two week run of After the War Blues. The play host a beautiful multi-racial cast that takes the audience the audience into their dysfunctionally unified boarding house. The play explores multiple narratives of the diverse cultural groups that migrated to the Bay Area during World War II. Most compellingly it tells that story of how these diverse ethnic groups lived amongst one another in such a tumultuous time. The play was written by Philip Kan Gotanda and is directed by Stephen Anthony Jones. After the War Blues runs through March 16th at Zellerbach Playhouse.
