A little over two years ago, 50 Shades of Grey, voyaged from Britain to deck America’s bookshelves. It seemed like everyone and their sister was reading this book. Along with going to see Magic Mike, I don’t doubt that the summer of 2012 was a time to push the sexual limits.
Franklin Roosevelt once said, “The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today.” And I think that is true in today’s sex culture. Just when you think movies, TV shows, and the entertainment industry, can’t get anymore sexual: it does.
This movie is going to set a precedent for what is tolerated and accepted in the next generation of movies, and Dornan has a pivotal role in that movement.
