The other night marked the fourth and last debate between Governor Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama held at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla. The debate mainly hit issues of foreign policy as well as the regular topics of education, taxes, and energy. Both candidates were on the offense last night feeling the urgency of the upcoming election. Unfortunately for social media, Romney played it safe and stayed away from any phrases such as “women in binders,” which sparked numerous GIFs and tweets after the second debate. Someone even made a computer game out of this phrase (www.romneybindersgame.com)…not even going to lie, it’s entertaining.
So the debates are over, and we’re only a few weeks out from Election Day. I for one am going to miss all the trash talking…I mean informed debate…from Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. Hopefully you people will get out, get informed, and vote because let’s be honest, it’s kind of important.
