Following the Leader: Top Fashion Blogs for any budding Fashionistas

Fashion blogs have completely changed the face of the industry — they are currently the best, most subjective measure of global style. And, I know its slightly ironic for another blog to be heralding five other blogs but to stay abreast of all the latest trends the following blogs are essential for any fashionista!

1. Man-Repller:

The Man Repller is a fashion blog that celebrates all style that is repellant to men. The blog is known for its quirky postings like manstagrams and arm parties. It is said to be the most influential fashion blog receiving 1.5 million hits per month.

outfitting oneself in a sartorially offensive mode that may result in repelling members of the opposite sex. Such garments include but are not limited to harem pants, boyfriend jeans, overalls (see: human repelling), shoulder pads, full length jumpsuits, jewelry that resembles violent weaponry and clogs.”
Red Carpet Fashion awards was recognized as one of Time’s 25 best blogs in 2011. The blog identifies designers of celebrity outfits at not only red carpet events like the name would suggest but also in their every day street style. What makes the site notable are the quirky awards Founder Catherine Kallon gives to different celebrities.
Fashionfoiegras is my personal favorite as it is the personable of all the blogs. Blogger Emily Johnston’s voice and enduring love for Ralph Lauren make the FashionFoiegras a consistently fun and interesting read.
Bryan Ray Gamo is considered the “king” of all fashion bloggers. The Filipino blogger (REPRESENT!) is a fixture at the front row of all major fashion weeks and is currently a host in the latest cycle of America’s Next Top Model.
