Ubisoft’s Rocksmith Launch Party

Hey Guys! As part of many upcoming game launch parties, Ubisoft is promoting their new game, Rocksmith (PS3, Xbox 360 PC), in UC Berkeley campus next week on October 21st at the Haas School of Business in the Wells Fargo Room. Using the technology based on Guitar Rising, Rocksmith is a music game that allows you to plug in your own guitar and begin playing songs from your favorite artists, such as Pixies, Nirvana, Silversun Pickups, etc. It’s a great way to learn to play guitar if your are a beginner, or if you just feel like playing an instrument. The event will have game stations with full game play demos and giveaways of merchandise, like free games, guitar straps and other stuff.

Just Dance 3 (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) and Child Eden (Xbox 360, PS3) will also be on display for demo, which are two motion based games. Just Dance is a rhythm dance game that incorporates the Xbox Kinect and the PS3 Move. Child Of Eden is a rhythm action game that is also motion controlled, which incorporates music and shooter elements into the game play.

Come to the event, play the games and win some free Ubisoft merchandise. Food and Drink will be provided as well.
